About the event
Our first Indian Street Food Masterclass was so much fun, we decided to do it all over again! Mum will go through step by step how to make Samosa, Chaat and a vegetable Biriyani. For those of you who didn't know, we started in the Farmers Markets, where mum would sellout of over 500 samosa in a few hours. Crispy pastry, with a delicious lightly spiced filling, these are popular with young and old. Chaat on the other hand is just an explosion of flavours, and one of the most popular street foods in India - it is savoury, sweet, sour and addictive. It has both crispy components as well as yoghurt, tamarind, spices and herbs. Finally, we will show you how to make a delicious vegetable Biriyani - the basis will be the same for those who want to make a chicken or lamb Biriyani at home.
As with every class, you get lots of hands on experience of making the dishes, but you will also get to taste everything as well as take lots home to share with your family and/or friends. Plus, you will get a FREE jar of Sobhna's Curry Paste. So, book your space today as we have limited spaces. This will definitely be a day to remember.
We are going to limit this class to a maximum of 8 people so you can ask as many questions as you want during the session. Our classes run for approx. 3.5 to 4 hours.
Most of our meals are plant-based but we do sometimes use yoghurt or ghee - please let us know if you are vegan so for that cooking class we can ensure that the meals are vegan
.
Also, be sure to bring a minimum of 5 medium sized takeaway containers to take home the samosa you make!
T&C: We reserved the right to cancel or refund classes on a case by case basis. Full refunds are only provided if notification is provided 7 days in advanced.
